This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Pediatric occupational therapy focuses on enhancing the development and daily functioning of children, particularly those facing challenges in physical, sensory, cognitive, or social-emotional areas.

I’m an occupational therapist on a mission to craft quality therapy sessions for K-5 students, including those with disabilities, from low-income families.

Through DonorsChoose, I’m seeking support to acquire sensory equipment, inclusive games, and specialized fine-motor, gross-motor and visual-motor tools, ensuring that every child, regardless of ability, has access to a transformative educational experience.
