My Project

My students are curious, energetic and have a natural love for reading. When asked about where they enjoy reading at home, most of them said “On a comfy chair!” They read more when they are comfortable and can easily find a good book that they love. This project will support my students when independently shopping for books because the books will be stored in these amazing sectional bins which makes it easy to organize their books by genres and book level bands. The cozy sofa will provide optional seating for some quite independent reading. The carpet cleaning machine will be used to clean our carpet which was generously donated by donors from Donors Choose last year.

These young readers will find it super easy to find the book that is “Just Right” for them in these sectioned book bins.

They can then move on to cozying up on a comfy sofa and on our clean carpet for some quiet reading.
