My Project

I want to give my 8th grade students an opportunity to work collaboratively with their peers. These tools will help facilitate positive communication and collaboration.

Research shows that students learn better when they work together.

To build a collaborative classroom community, these tools will be greatly appreciated. We will be using the games and snacks for team building activities. The folders, whiteboards, and school supplies will be used to stock each table group’s daily supplies.

This project will help me set up table groups with the supplies they need for each group. My hope is that working in groups will increase their individual achievement. My goal is to not only improve their academic performance, but also to encourage positive and productive social interactions.
