My Project

These are some books that I am hoping to include in my new classroom library. A wide array of picture books will help get my beginning readers motivated and engaged as they get lost in the pages of great literature.

Reading is freedom!

I am hoping to nurture a community of readers. My students will be exposed to a variety of characters and stories that will, hopefully, make their first grade year a memorable one.

These books will be used for read alouds and will also become available to my students for independent reading as their reading skills increase over the course of the year.
