Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love reading and love seeing themselves represented in books. Students who love to read possess an invaluable tool for success, one that opens doors to knowledge, imagination, and growth.

The beauty of reading lies in its ability to connect us with a wide array of perspectives, cultures, and experiences.

Through the pages of diverse books and early readers, students gain the skills and mindset needed to succeed in an ever-changing world.

Giving my students updated nonfiction books about a variety of topics and important figures of history will provide our students with accurate and current perspectives on the lives and achievements of influential figures that relate to themselves.
