Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It’s been an amazing six months with my kindergarten students, and I’m excited to continue helping them grow and develop a love for reading. As they begin to master the fundamentals of literacy, I want to ensure they have the tools to make this journey both enjoyable and inspiring. The books I am requesting will not only help them learn letters, sounds, and sight words but will also ignite their curiosity and imagination, turning reading into an exciting adventure.

Along with the books, I’m requesting a bookshelf to create a reading corner in our classroom, making the books easily accessible and inviting for my students.

I’m also asking for sensory toys to support children who need tactile tools to stay focused and calm during lessons. These resources will ensure that every child feels comfortable and ready to learn.

This is my first year teaching in the United States, and I’m grateful to work with such eager, talented students. Your support will provide them with the tools they need to thrive and help keep their love for reading alive. Thank you for helping make their learning journey joyful and meaningful.
