This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school, we are dedicated to fostering a love of reading and promoting literacy skills in our students. However, many of our classroom libraries lack the diverse, engaging, and high-quality books needed to spark curiosity and cultivate a lifelong passion for reading. By providing access to a wide range of books—spanning various genres, reading levels, and themes—we aim to create an enriching environment where every student feels inspired to read and explore new worlds through literature.

Your generous support will enable us to purchase a carefully selected collection of books that cater to different interests and reading abilities.

From picture books for younger readers to chapter books and novels for more advanced students, the diverse range of titles will ensure that every child can find stories they relate to, learn from, and enjoy.

These books will not only help improve students' reading comprehension and vocabulary but will also encourage them to think critically, enhance their empathy, and engage in meaningful conversations about the world around them. With your help, we can create a positive, lasting impact on our students' literacy development and inspire a deep, lifelong love of reading.
