My Project

My students are interested and excited readers who want nothing more than to dig into some new literary adventures! They enjoy reading and love being offered the chance to pick their own books, but many struggle to get started and find "the one". Where to begin? Browsing online to find novels that they are interested in just doesn't spark their enthusiasm like flipping through the pages does...

Building our classroom library based on students' interests and requests will allow me to offer them a place to explore, get excited, and grow their experiences and skills as lifelong readers and lovers of literature!

Many are not able to conveniently access the public library, and our school library is limited in its options, so I want to create for them the robust literary library that they deserve. Some of the titles I requested are Dracula, Wuthering Heights, Where the Crawdads Sing, Rebecca, etc.
