Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am preparing to teach a new grade next year! It has been 15 years since I taught 2nd grade, and I am ready for the challenge. This project will focus on the basics of writing and mathematics. I cannot wait to learn some new techniques while incorporating my old traditions.

I am requesting math manipulatives and writing practice books that meet the needs of 2nd-grade students.

I cannot wait to start writing on day 1. The Science of Reading has many components that I can use in our daily writing. I cannot wait to be back with students who are at the ground level of reading and math!
