Building a Gateway to Calmness

Help me give my students a bookshelf, Big Joe chairs, and a rug for a getaway in the classroom to a world of books and relaxation.

My Project

I want to be able to provide my students with a way to relax and be calm when school days get stressful. My students have days that are stressful from testing and just everyday life. I would like them to have a spot in my room to help them destress and reload their emotions.

My goal for this project is to provide an environment where students who are having a rough day can have a cool down area to go to.

Also, I would like to use this as a reward for behavior and success in the classroom. These students work hard every day and deserve their own special area in my room that can come to when the day gets rough.

My students are special because they come to school every day and do their best in all of their classes. I encourage these students every day to do their best and be successful in all they do. I know sometimes that is not always the case, but they try very hard to make an improvements in some areas of their education.
