My Students

Our children come from various backgrounds i.e. English language learners, immigrant parents, shelter homes, and low income families. For many students, pre-school is their first step to education. They are energetic, inquisitive, and motivated individuals. They come to school with great expectations and an abundance of curiosity.

My Project

These hands on materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will go in different learning centers. We need your help in making our learning centers more interactive and fun filled! The puppets will be used for interactive story telling, Read Alouds and large group lessons. The puppets play an important role in children's language development. Math, Science, and Literacy manipulative will be used during mini-lessons and share time. Math, science, and arts are an important part of learning for children in their early years because these areas provide vital life skills and prepare them for future learning. Dramatic play encourages children to put themselves in someone else's shoes. Such role-playing helps them to improve their ability to do this in real life. They learn important social skills, such as empathy.

The donations to this project will help us create an interactive classroom where our students can remain engaged in hands on activities throughout the day.

I love to offer a safe, healthy and ready-to-learn environment to my students. The donations will help me create my dream classroom where my students will learn a wide variety of life skills through play! I truly need your support to give my children plenty of opportunities to explore and learn. I greatly appreciate any donation and I am sure my students would be grateful as well. Thanks a lot for your support!
