Building a Flexible Classroom Through Social Emotional Learning
Help me give my students the opportunity to learn and grow in a caring and nurturing environment. I want to build a classroom that is flexible and accepting of all kinds of learners.
The items that I am requesting will allow me to build an environment where students are allowed to be comfortable with who they are and how they learn. I am also seeking to build upon and grow our social emotional learning within my classroom.
I work at a trauma informed school and we have adopted a growth mindset as a schoolwide approach.
I would love your help to adapt my room to fit our schoolwide trauma informed climate by helping me to build a more flexible classroom with a calming corner.
Learning can happen everywhere, as long as students feel safe enough to grow. That is the environment I want to build in my classroom.
