My Students

My students are kind, caring, and supportive of each other. They are tiny sponges taking everything in. I teach elementary-age students that have a variety of different learning styles. Every child that I teach has an individualized education plan due to some sort of learning difference. From autism to ADHD, and specific learning disabilities in reading and math, all the way to just being developmentally delayed in some developmental areas; all of my kiddos learn differently and at different paces.

My Project

All of the books cover social and emotional topics. My students will be able to read stories about kids like them, as well as learn about emotions and social skills.

During our distance learning, I will be able to share these stories and use any purchased, downloaded resources from Teachers Pay Teachers in my one-on-one learning sessions.

Once we return to school in the building, I will be able to create an amazing reading nook that allows students to celebrate differences in people! I look forward to providing stories about people just like the students that I serve.
