Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project supports independent reading for the students in my classroom. My goal is to build a library of several hundred books, including novels, comics, short story collections, and graphic novels. This project contains several books that students have requested to read including the newest Dog Man. Additionally, it includes a few copies of Double Dutch, which will help me replace some of the books in my class set that have been worn. Access to books to accommodate different reading levels, languages, and interests will help encourage reading growth this year and beyond for my students. My students have enjoyed independent reading this year and I hope to continually stock my library with books.
