Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to create a safe environment in the classroom where my students can use tools provided for them to further their education. I want them to be able to express themselves creatively. We are looking for materials that will create a warm and caring environment. One of the materials we are looking for is the Toniesbox listening center that tells the children stories. This will teach them how to self soothe, along with strengthening their independence. We are also looking for materials such as the feelings chart so students can learn that expressing themselves in a healthy way is important.
