Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our goal as educators is to empower our students with the skills and knowledge to become compassionate, inquisitive, principled young people who create a more peaceful world through global awareness, critical thinking, and a commitment to action and service.

ES Middle School students are ambitious students seeking to prepare themselves to be a part of a global community.

These IB students are preparing for their community service projects while making their last year in middle school as memorable as possible.

My Project

Students have the amazing opportunity to go 1:1 with iPads this year. As we learn to navigate this technology we also want to be sure students are learning fundamental skills. This generation may be digital natives, but it is our goal that they are also proficient digital citizens.

We will be using iPads to conduct research, analyze sources, participate in group projects, and write research papers.

We want to make sure students have all the skills necessary to be ready for high school and beyond. In order to do this we need your help to provide the resources needed for success.
