Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will reinforce counting skills and students will develop problem-solving thinking skills, using games and activities that require using numbers and counting. Using board games, students will learn counting, skip counting, counting backwards, and counting by twos and threes.

Students will learn strategies to improve skills and win games while playing games with other students.

Students will develop and enhance critical game theory skills while engaged in learning how to take turns during game play. Students will learn about estimating numbers and will learn about ratios, risk-taking with numbers, and what are the odds of winning or losing based on results of repeated game plays.
