Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Recently, the parks department started renovating the playground where our little ones used to go for recess. Now we do our best to get them active in the gym or in dance class, but some kids need other activities. I would like to provide a table of engaging activities where students of various ages and stages of development and needs could work and play together.

All of my children, from my kindergartners to my fourth and fifth graders, love to work with Lego.

One particular set is made to encourage and support students to work together. With multiple sets of this type, I will be able to now only provide an engaging activity for my students, but also provide an environment where neuro divergent students can interact with a variety of other students in a noncompetitive situation.

Thank you for supporting my students as we work to provide an engaging learning environment during their recess.
