Build Independent Living Skills

Help me give my students materials to help them learn important life skills to help them succeed in the future!

My Project

This project will help my students learn valuable life skills they need for their future. I plan to build activities that promote independent living skills by using these materials and purchasing a life skills curriculum that is designed for students with disabilities with the TPT gift card.

My students deserve to be given every opportunity to succeed in life and these materials will help build their independence.

My students can use these skills like brushing their teeth, counting money, folding laundry, and grocery shopping to help increase their independence.

Setting up life skills activities is vital to the success of my classroom. The TPT card will allow me to purchase a Life Skills Curriculum to help reinforce the skills. The dressing boards will help my students practice vital fine motor skills like tying shoes and zipping up clothes and jackets. I plan to give my students the opportunity to grocery shop in the classroom to practice following lists and picking out items. I also want my students to know how to do basic cleaning tasks and folding clothes. This will help promote their independence.
