My Project

Incorporating toys and games into our classroom is a powerful way to foster community and enhance social-emotional learning skills. These tools provide students with interactive and engaging ways to practice collaboration, empathy, and problem-solving. For example, cooperative games can teach teamwork and communication, while role-playing activities help students navigate and understand different emotions and perspectives. My goal is to create a supportive environment where every student feels valued and connected, which is crucial for their personal and academic growth. Our students are uniquely diverse, each bringing their own strengths and experiences, and these resources will help us celebrate and integrate those differences into our learning journey. Our students have missed out on community building activities in the past due to covid restrictions, which is crucial to preparing students for the world outside of the classroom.
