My Project

Having just moved into my new classroom as a first year teacher, I do not have the classroom library built up like I would like it to be one day. This includes space to store all of the books I would like to provide for my students. I would also like to make a student friendly reading nook where they can feel away from distractions and can fully immerse themselves in their reading. I want reading to be an enjoyable experience, and having a space in the classroom for that I think would be effective. I have noticed that my students are getting bored with the few books I have supplied in my room. I want to give them more in the classroom when it comes to reading choice. Especially when I’m trying to foster a love of reading.
