This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember what it was like the first time you read a story on a computer? Imagine being able to read more and more on an iPad that we can take anywhere & not just within the four walls of our classroom.

To him we cannot say tomorrow, his name is today." - Gabriela Mistral With this being said...My students are eager to learn, love technology, but coming from low income homes and speak English as a second language has made their learning more of a challenge.

My Project

An iPad in the classroom will make learning more fun, as well as bringing technology and the real world into the classroom. We would be able to read current events and use the iPad for educational games as well. My students would be able to learn what is going on currently in the world.

The project would make a big difference in my students' lives.

This will allow them to see how others are willing to help out in their every day learning. Since they come from low income homes and speak English as a second language this will allow them to be able to achieve more while having hands-on experience with a different type of technology in the classroom.
