My Project

As we prepare to head into a new school year, I want to make sure my students have the tools they need to feel confident and prepared from day one. Every year, I watch families try their best to provide school supplies, but with the rising cost of living and inflation hitting households hard, it's becoming more and more difficult for many to cover even the basics. Items like notebooks, pencils, headphones, pencil pouches, and glue sticks add up quickly—especially for families with multiple kids. Some students arrive with nothing more than a backpack and a hopeful smile.

On top of that, our school district is facing budget cuts that limit the amount of classroom supplies we're able to order.

I’ve always tried to fill in the gaps myself, but the reality is, it’s getting harder to keep up. A simple pack of markers or a few extra notebooks might not seem like much, but when you're buying for a class of 30+ kids, it adds up fast. This project will help me stock up on the essentials every child needs—so no one starts the year feeling left behind.

Your support would make a huge difference. With your help, I can provide every student with what they need to participate fully in class without having to worry about what they don’t have. Starting this project now and getting future supplies will help lessen my stress over the summer; knowing we are ready to go helps so much.
