My Project

Our school is taking on a challenge that will change the lives of our young preschool students! We are starting a specific mentoring program with buddy boxes for the youngest students with disabilities in our preschool that are at risk for not achieving their full potential academically, falling into at-risk patterns socially, and other potential factors that could hinder their educational success in the future.

Each child is paired with a mentor who will work with their buddy on topics such as counting, reading, turn-taking, and self-worth/perception which are all topics in the activities we've selected.

Each student will have a chance to meet in our learning lounge with an assigned mentor each morning while they complete academic activities like Fish Builders, Crazy Shapes Magnetic Building Set, Giant Star Builders, Slot-Together Animals.
