My Students

Have you ever wanted to learn all about famous people?

My students are of mixed abilities.

They are in 4th grade in a public school in Queens. They attend a Title I school. My students are eager to learn new things. They come from many different countries and English is not always their first language. My class is homogeneously mixed.

My Project

These books will help my students to learn about famous people. These books will provide them with books that are just right for them. We read leveled books based on the guided reading levels. This allows for my students to read books they can understand and to grow as readers. Having the right books to read helps children to become better readers and to be successful in school.

Your donations will help my students to learn about many famous people.

This will inspire them to achieve great things in the future just like these famous people who often had to overcome obstacles in order to succeed in life.
