Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, our students are engaging in various hands-on projects that will enhance their learning experience and foster creativity. However, we need your help to make these projects a success! One of our upcoming initiatives involves creating vibrant posters for our vocabulary words. We require supplies such as Post-it easel paper, glue, tape, and 3x5 index cards to bring these posters to life. These materials will allow our students to express their understanding of vocabulary in a fun and visually appealing way.

Also, we are excited to announce our new Science Buddies Project, in which our 9th-grade students will buddy up with 2nd/ 3rd-graders from our local elementary school.

Our goal is to support these young learners in their projects while sharing our knowledge of physics with them in a fun and engaging way. This hands-on experience will help the younger students develop their problem-solving skills and foster teamwork and innovation as they collaborate with their older peers. We believe learning can be an enjoyable journey, and this project will allow all students to explore new concepts together.

To make this project a success, we are seeking your generous support. We will need construction paper, markers, glue, and other materials to facilitate our activities and help the younger students fully engage in their projects. Your donations will directly contribute to these enriching experiences, allowing us to create memorable learning moments for 9th graders and elementary students. Any amount you can provide will be greatly appreciated, whether it’s purchasing supplies or assisting us in acquiring necessary materials.
