My Project

We come from a rural, low economic area with not many options nearby for students to buy hygiene products. Many of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch and need assistance with getting supplies for their every day care. Items in the closet range from pony tails and combs to keep their hair looking neat, toothbrushes and toothpaste to help with oral health and deodorant to keep them interactive with their peers.

The closet is available to all students to get what they need to care for themselves.

Our goal is for students to get what they need without judgement. Students feel a sense of security when they are able to get what they need without feeling judged by asking for help. The closet is located in a discreet area and students know they are welcomed to get anything that they may need.
