My Students

My students are loving and caring children. They come to school ready to learn and are motivated!

They work hard on their assignments and strive to do their best.

They come from low-income housing and some come from other countries and are learning English. They are eager to learn new skills in the classroom and especially love technology.

They love STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). They are often looking for new ways to be future innovators! I know they love school, and I hope to keep them engaged all year long!

My Project

I am requesting an Engineering is Elementary kit for Bubble Bonanza, making innovative bubble wands. This STEM project will engage my students in using the Engineering Design Process to solve a real world problem. Students are asked to help design and create bubble wands to use in an entertainment show. They will work collaboratively to see how bubbles can be used in different ways. This kit will help teach all about different materials engineers use. There are also planning sheets that will benefit all my students in working on improving their designs. I know this will help my students think more like inventors of the future!
