Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'm a school-based social worker and a sustainability coordinator working my second year in a middle school in the South Bronx. My passion and drive are to see my students succeed in and outside of school. I want to give them the best because they are the best. The supplies in this cart will work as a form of play therapy, but middle school style. A safe fun space with beach umbrellas and beach chairs will create a relaxing environment! I service students with special needs and would love to provide an environment that will engage them differently than in the traditional classroom.
