This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This school year has been tough all around. Our students have been struggling with getting back to basics of being in school and our teachers have been burnt out with the backlog of work and constant struggles to help students get back on track. It didn't help that our camera setup decided to break down on us when we needed it the most. Our tech club created a newcast/podcast network for the school. Our new principal thought this would be an excellent way to help morale and give our student body something to invest their time and energy in, whether it be chronicling our sports or providing a solid farewell to retiring staff with interviews and shout-outs. But that was halted when our camera decided to retire earlier than expected This is where this project steps in.

Our students need these items to help them bust out of the two-year-long funk they have been drifting through, and it is a hard feeling to see the tech club excited with the prospect of our podcast/ news network, only to be brought down with the first news report that we need new tech.

This project aims to use this camera to bring more positive vibes to our students, staff, and community by having our tech club bring their creations to life!
