This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students have stories to tell, ideas to share, and voices that deserve to be heard! We are launching our school's very first podcast and need your help to make it happen. By funding this project, you will help provide essential podcasting hardware, including microphones, headphones, an audio interface, and recording equipment, giving students the tools they need to create high-quality content. We desire to take our Digital Media skills to the next level in broadcasting and journalism. We will have a regular podcast to discuss school life, community events, and regional news.

Podcasting is an incredible way for students to develop communication skills, creativity, and confidence while exploring topics that matter to them.

This project will empower them to produce their own episodes, interview guests, and share insights on school events, current issues, and community stories. With the right equipment, our students can engage in meaningful storytelling and learn valuable media production skills that will serve them beyond the classroom.

Your donation will directly support the purchase of professional-grade podcasting gear, ensuring that students have access to high-quality sound and production tools. With your generosity, we can create an engaging, student-led podcast that inspires learning, collaboration, and self-expression.
