Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Ours was the first public military school in the nation and offers an alternative to the regular middle and high school program. We offer students a strict regimented military style discipline program, which provides for individualized instruction with a teaching ratio of 15:1. All students are enrolled in Military Science and academic courses account for the remaining schedule.
I am amazed by the enthusiasm and positive outlook of my students.
I would love to provide them with more technology in the classroom - and you can help!
100% of our students are on the Free Lunch Program. We have an amazing group of parents, PTA, and community members, but need help in supporting our students financially, as our school district is experiencing a horrible budget crisis this year. My students deserve the world and, with your help, I can do my part to encourage, teach, and help move them toward the success that each one of them deserves!
My Project
My students do their best to learn Spanish. But in my classroom, I have no technology other than a projector. To make lessons relevant for my students, I MUST be able to use technology! By using these tablets, I will be able to utilize Spanish apps, websites, and other online and interactive resources with my students that will keep them engaged, interested, and learning.
Everything today is online; paper and pencil just won't keep my students interested or engaged for more than a few minutes.
So I need your help to get these tablets so that I can keep my students' attention while helping them to succeed and comprehend the Spanish language.
