Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am asking for help to build my classroom costume supply, and for supporting materials for our units of study on "Othello" and "The Crucible". I have been teaching plays in my 10th and 11th grade ELA classes for 12 years, and have noticed that students are far more engaged when they get to wear costumes! Having a variety of props also encourages students to take ownership of their roles, and think deeply about character presentation and author's choices.

All of the other supplies will be used for our classroom projects and to help us write our final argumentative essays on the role and responsibilities of the individual in society.
