Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach in the north ward of Newark, at times it is impossible to come by supplies. I have several students who are very talented and could benefit from materials being available for them to create with. My artists have talent and just need the art materials to help them achieve their full potential.

I service over 900 students over the course of a week and would love to push their limits with the right tools.

We will create posters and painting that could be displayed throughout our school to help encourage other students to embrace the arts.
