My Project

As a first year teacher, these materials will help me establish my science classroom as a space for exploration and creativity. In the woods and creeks of the Pennypack Park, my students will explore and discover the natural world just a short walk from our school.

With the help of these supplies, students will be able to further their investigation back in the classroom.

We are fortunate to have a few microscopes, but lack the basic supplies - such as pipettes, petri dishes, and depression slides - to use them effectively. The art supplies will help students present their learning in a way that allows them to showcase their artistic skills as well as their scientific understanding.
