My Project

Music has long been recognized as a powerful tool in emotional healing and self-expression. As a school counselor, I am spearheading an innovative initiative to incorporate musical therapy into my counseling sessions. By integrating music into my counseling sessions, I aim to help students navigate difficult emotions, improve mental wellness, and build confidence. For many young people, music provides an outlet for expression when words fall short, creating a safe space for emotional growth and resilience.

However, to bring this vision to life, my office is in need of a piano.

This essential tool will serve as a means for students to engage in music therapy, whether through playing, listening, or simply reflecting on the therapeutic power of sound. With a piano in the counseling office, we will be able to offer a range of activities that promote relaxation, creativity, and emotional regulation, directly benefiting students' mental and emotional well-being.

I am asking for your generous donation(s) to fund the purchase of a piano for my school counseling office. Your contribution will go directly toward bringing this powerful therapeutic tool to our school. Together, we can ensure that every student has access to the support they need to thrive—emotionally, socially, and academically.
