My Students

Help my new second graders bring print to life once again with new toner. Last winter, via Donor's Choose, a new color laser-jet printer was generously donated to my class. The printer enables my second graders to authors and poets!

My students are from low-income families, located in the Central Downtown area.

Most of them don't have access to computer with Internet at home. At our school, due to budget constraints, we have computers with non-functioning printers and most are in need of ink/toner to replenish our old printers. Now our one-year old printer needs toner!

My Project

Replenishing of new toner will definitely bring back print to life for all my new second graders! My students are eager to be future writers, illustrators, and poets. The working printer will truly inspire and motivate my students to write with a purpose and especially for audience: their classmates and family members. The printer will allow my students to print out their work to share in class, at school, and at home. Having a working printer will benefit my students in many exciting and rewarding ways.

With your support in purchasing the toner for our printer, my students' hard work will come to life in colorful print.

Their work will be displayed, admired, and most importantly, bring home to share with their loved ones. The lasting impact of your kind support will enrich the lives of my students in promoting their voice be heard and their creativity to flourish.
