This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Supplies for our classroom will help us in our mission to create an engaging environment for writing. Sticky notes will allow us to think bigger in revision and editing, as well as planning and jotting our ideas down. They can help us dissect a text, annotate, and work both collaboratively and independently.

Having these supplies accessible to our students encourages their imagination to become their motivation in endless projects.

They are free to strive to be the best author and creator they can be. Our goal is to foster an environment where students can feel excited and proud in their own independent work, to they point where they can sit in an "Author's Chair" and share their projects.

Our students enjoy research projects and learning more about the world to become experts in different fields, especially topics in science. We want to support them in their excitement by showing how they can express these ideas through writing and media!
