My Project

I absolutely love my students’ curiosity, resilience, and creativity. Despite the challenges of living in a remote village in Alaska, they show up every day eager to learn and grow. They inspire me with their determination to explore new ideas and their ability to see the world through fresh and hopeful perspectives.

This project will make a huge difference in their learning by providing tools to create engaging, colorful materials that bring lessons to life.

With the printer, refill inks, and assorted colored paper, I’ll be able to create vibrant handouts, projects, and visuals to support their understanding of complex science topics and other subjects. Whether it’s printing detailed diagrams, creating hands-on activity sheets, or producing eye-catching visuals for group projects, these resources will make learning more interactive and exciting.

My goal for this project is to provide my students with the resources they need to succeed, making our classroom a more stimulating and supportive environment. By having access to these tools, they’ll not only develop their academic skills but also build confidence and pride in their work.

What makes my students special is their ability to find joy and hope even in tough situations. They face unique challenges living in a remote community, but they continue to persevere with smiles on their faces and a willingness to learn. This project is my way of giving them the tools they need to match their boundless potential and help them shine even brighter.
