My Project

To create a more vibrant and dynamic learning environment, I am requesting a color laser printer, toner, and a durable plastic mat for my classroom. The color printer and toner will allow me to produce high-quality, full-color maps, primary source documents, and visual aids that will make history come alive for my students. The plastic mat will provide a safe and organized space for collaborative projects, simulations, and hands-on activities that foster deeper understanding of historical concepts.

For example, during our unit on ancient civilizations, students will create interactive maps and timelines that they can annotate and share with their peers.

The color materials will also support my English language learners by providing visual context and helping them build vocabulary and comprehension skills. Additionally, the plastic mat will be used during our simulation activities, such as reenacting historical events or building models that illustrate historical trade routes and cultural exchanges.
