My Project

Most of my students do not make positive food choices on their own. Our communities have to provide support to promote positive food choice alternatives. These resources will help lead a community service initiative allowing the students to cook food alternatives using healthy items instead of buying processed foods at the stores as they normally do.

The goals for this project is learn the importance of making our own food using fresh fruit and vegetables while spreading that knowledge to our surrounding community by inviting them in to experience this as well through wellness workshops.

Our students are so special because they love to pay it forward in their own communities. We already have a green team and this would catapult that initiative into another tangible experience that they will want to share with other community members.
