My Project

Our middle school geography class is on an exciting journey to explore the world around us! To help my students connect the concepts they learn in class to real-world events, I’m seeking donations for a subscription to a news magazine, Scholastic Junior. These magazines will allow students to engage with current events, scientific discoveries, environmental issues and cultural topics from across the globe.

By receiving these news magazines, students will have access to age-appropriate, engaging content that will support their curriculum and expand their understanding of geography.

The magazines will be used as a resource to enhance reading comprehension and literacy skills through articles about geography, science and current events. They will also foster curiosity and global awareness by exploring diverse countries, ecosystems and cultures. They will encourage student-led discussions, projects and presentations on relevant world issues.

These materials will not only make learning geography more relevant and exciting, but will also inspire students to become informed, global citizens. Your support will help us bring the world into our classroom and give my students the tools to understand it better.
