This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Gaga Ball equipment will give my students a unique and engaging way to stay active. Unlike traditional sports, Gaga Ball is inclusive and can be played by students of all skill levels. This will help improve their physical fitness, coordination, and agility. Additionally, the game encourages strategic thinking and quick decision-making, which are valuable cognitive skills. By incorporating Gaga Ball into our curriculum, students will also learn important social-emotional learning (SEL) concepts such as teamwork, communication, and resilience. My primary goal is to introduce my students to Gaga Ball, a fun and dynamic game that promotes physical activity and healthy competition. I aim to create an inclusive environment where every student feels confident and excited to participate. Through this project, I strive to enhance their physical education experience by providing a fresh alternative to traditional games.

Additionally, I want to use Gaga Ball to teach health-related fitness components and SEL concepts, helping students develop physically and emotionally.

My students are incredibly diverse, bringing their unique backgrounds, talents, and perspectives to our classroom. They are enthusiastic learners who thrive on new challenges and experiences. Despite their obstacles, they show remarkable resilience and a strong sense of community. By introducing them to Gaga Ball, I want to celebrate their individuality and allow them to shine in a new and exciting way. Their eagerness to learn and grow makes them unique, and I am committed to giving them the best possible educational experiences.
