Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a teacher at a Title 1 school that serves a diverse and dedicated group of students. We are reaching out to you with a heartfelt request for support in enriching the educational experiences of our students.

Our second-grade students are currently fascinated by the world of plants, and they are eager to engage in hands-on learning through a plant growth project in the classroom.

This project is not only designed to deepen their understanding of science but also to make learning fun and interactive. However, in order to fully bring this project to life, we are in need of essential materials, including plant kits, soil, pots, and tools to help our students grow and care for their own plants.

Additionally, in our ICT (Integrated Co-Teaching) classroom, we are working to create a more dynamic and engaging environment for our students. One of the tools that would greatly enhance their learning experience is a Smart Board, which would allow us to incorporate interactive lessons, videos, and activities that would captivate their attention and foster active participation.

We are also excited to begin a student club aimed at providing our learners with additional opportunities to explore topics beyond the classroom. To launch this initiative, we need materials like books, arts and crafts supplies, and other educational tools that would help our students grow both academically and socially.

We humbly ask for your support in helping us achieve these goals. Your generous donation will directly impact our students’ ability to learn in creative, engaging, and meaningful ways. Any contribution you can provide, whether in the form of financial support or donations of materials, would be deeply appreciated.
