This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to create digital artworks. They spend many hours working on and perfecting their artworks. Their artwork often goes unappreciated because it is only viewable on a small phone screen or tablet. We currently have a color laser printer in our classroom that is mainly used to print references for artworks. My students are overjoyed when I print their digital work even though the print quality is lacking.

This project will allow my students' digital artworks to be brought to life with a high quality printer.

This project will also benefit my students when learning about photography. We will be able to print our photographs up to 11"x17". Although digital photographs and art are wonderful, I believe that it is important for students to see their artwork in a physical form.
