My Students

This is our first year having a technology position and I have seen student engagement skyrocket and my students are intrigued and excited about the possibility of becoming future computer programmers. We have taken the time to learn about coding and play some interactive coding games and create some of our own codes using free apps, etc. but have not had the opportunity to actually program something that moves and follows what we tell it to do. My students are AMAZING and are begging to learn and experience more.I am so fortunate to have this opportunity to provide experiences like this for our students, and cannot wait to see how these smart and intelligent students help us create a better world in the future!

My Project

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this proposal. I am a technology specialist who is passionate about creating hands-on, exciting experiences for my students. This is our first year having a technology position and I have seen student engagement skyrocket and my students are intrigued and excited about the possibility of becoming future computer programmers. We have taken the time to learn about coding and play some interactive coding games and create some of our own codes using free apps, etc. but have not had the opportunity to actually program something that moves and follows what we tell it to do.

My students are AMAZING and are begging to learn and experience more.

We would greatly appreciate and LOVE the opportunity to experience working with the Wonder Workshop Robots. I have almost 300 students and would like to provide ALL of them with these rich experiences, which is why I am requesting two sets of each level robot. The "Dot" robot would be perfect for my kindergarteners and first graders, the "Dash" would be great for my first through fourth graders, and the "Cue" would be perfect for my fifth graders.

I am so fortunate to have this opportunity to provide experiences like this for our students, and cannot wait to see how these smart and intelligent students help us create a better world in the future!
