My Project

In my special education classroom, my students thrive when history is made accessible, engaging, and relevant to their lives. With your generous support, I hope to provide them with Timelines From Black History: Leaders, Legacies, Legends—a visually stunning and informative book that celebrates the often-overlooked contributions of Black leaders, activists, scientists, and visionaries. Many of my students struggle with reading comprehension, and this book’s vibrant timelines, illustrations, and clear storytelling will help them connect with history in a meaningful way. Your donation will ensure that my students have the opportunity to explore, learn, and take pride in the diverse stories that have shaped our world.
