My Students

The students in my classroom are creative, spontaneous, and engaging. The students in my classroom are students with learning and emotional disabilities. I am fortunate enough to be their music teacher for the upcoming school year. They are always eager to learn!

My Project

Please help my students to gain access to these new beginner band instruments. The students have never had a band program and this will help them tap into their creative side and use it in the classroom and outside. Currently, there are no instruments at the school. The students would be the first to ever have an instrument at this school. The students are excited to have their first music class ever! Students who learn an instrument at a young age have been proven to have great listening skills, higher math skills, improved reading skills, and performance skills. The beginner band instruments will improve their social skills and enhance the environment that is set in school and the classroom.
