This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My sixth-grade special needs students are learning ancient history. We decided it would be fun to recreate mummies, pyramids, the Great Wall of China, and other ancient artifacts. The clay, paints, and sculpting tools will help my students get a visual and hands-on idea of what these structures look like.

By sculpting their own colosseum, mummies, and other artifacts, they will be able to remember the history behind the objects.

For my students, hands-on experience is the best way to learn. Help me give my students the tools they need to be successful.
