My students are inquisitive, innovative, and enjoy being challenged! This year has presented many different challenges and they have rose to each and every one of them. They are growing and learning in the same small, tight knit, school community that inspired me to become a teacher. Although learning looks a lot different this year the goals are still the same.
They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners.
They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are budding ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs, teachers...
They are our future and I want to give them a great start to their long successful career.
My Project
Many of our students have not been inside a classroom in over 18 LONG months. This project will help bring our classroom back to life with some new borders and materials to help jazz up the classroom. In addition it will offer opportunities to celebrate their diversity in and out of the classroom. It has been a challenge for so many of our students who have worked both remote and in person, but for so many their in person experiences were in large spaces and not classrooms. My hopes is that this project will help the students feel like they never left.
